On November 23, the closing ceremony of the 9th "celebration of silk" Thai Silk clothing culture exhibition and the 2nd Thai Silk International Fashion Week was held at the Royal Navy Convention Center in Bangkok. Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha, Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam, Minister of culture Itthiphol Kunplome, and more than 2000 people including diplomats from more than 70 embassies in Thailand attended the ceremony. Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Lyu Jian and Spouse led Embassy staff to attend the ceremony.

At the closing ceremony, Ambassador Lyu Jian and Madam Pan Peng took the stage as honorary models. They dressed in Thai silk formal dress designed by Yi Ming, a Chinese designer, and walked on the stage with other envoys and diplomats from various countries in Thailand. They excellently demonstrated the beauty of harmony generated by the cultural integration between China and Thailand, and won rounds of applause from the audience.

Thai Prime Minister Prayut and Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu delivered speeches respectively. They thanked the Embassies of various countries in Thailand for their full support for the activities, saying that Thai Silk is an important cultural symbol and national pride of Thailand, and has increasingly become an important export product in recent years, which has made a crucial contribution in promoting economic development, improving people's lives and inheriting national culture. Queen Mother Sirikit attaches great importance to the promotion of Thai Silk. With her personal care, the scale and influence of Thai Silk clothing culture exhibition continue to expand. It is hoped that by inviting designers from different countries to make Thai silk costumes, more people will know and love Thai silk, and it is also hoped that the cultural exchanges and mutual appreciation of clothing will deepen the friendship between Thailand and the people of all countries.

The 9th Thai Silk clothing culture exhibition and the 2nd Thai Silk international fashion week was held in Bangkok from November 18 to 23. On November 19, China's special clothing show was opened in Bangkok. With Thai Silk as the carrier, "technology and future" as the theme, the exquisite China show offered a refreshing experience.
