As we welcome the New Year, I extend my warmest greetings on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand to the people of Thailand and all friends who care about and support the development of China-Thailand relations.

The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a year of great significance. Under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with President Xi Jinping at its core , China has steadfastly promoted high-quality development, further deepened comprehensive reforms, and expanded high-level opening-up. The economy has continued to recover and improve, social harmony and stability have been maintained, and the 1.4 billion people of China are marching forward with confidence on the new journey of building Chinese-style modernization.

With the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries and the joint efforts of people from all sectors, the past year has seen fruitful achievements in China-Thailand exchanges and cooperation across various fields. These achievements have greatly benefited the peoples of both countries and injected strong positive energy into regional stability and development. In the coming year, China and Thailand will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the "Golden 50 Years of China-Thailand Friendship." China will continue to promote the traditional friendship between the two nations and remain a reliable and trustworthy partner for Thailand. We are committed to working together with our Thai friends to follow the vision outlined by the leaders of both countries and build a China-Thailand community of shared destiny, writing a new chapter of "China-Thailand as One Family."

As the New Year of 2025 approaches, let us all wish for the prosperity and flourishing of both countries, the happiness and well-being of our peoples, and the eternal friendship between China and Thailand!
