On April 29, Ambassador Zhang Jianwei met with Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong, Minister of Education of Thailand.

Ambassador Zhang congratulated Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong on his appointment as Minister of Education and welcomed the Minister of Education to lead the delegation to attend the World Digital Education Alliance (WDEA) in China. Ambassador Zhang stated that His Majesty the King's official visit to China last November marked a new chapter in the excellent friendship between China and Thailand. Education is a vital component of the friendship between the two countries, and under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, educational cooperation between China and Thailand has yielded remarkable achievements. China is willing to cooperate with Thailand to further strengthen practical cooperation in education and support the economic and social development of both countries.

Mr. Prasert Chantaravongthong, Minister of Education, highly commended the educational cooperation between China and Thailand and expressed his intention to further strengthen educational exchanges with China, enhance cooperation in various areas such as Chinese language teaching, artificial intelligence education, and vocational skills training, and promote educational cooperation between the two countries to a higher level.
