Ambassador Zhang Jianwei attended and delivered a keynote speech at the seminar on "New Trends in Thai-Chinese Cooperation Amidst Global Changes," held as part of the 8th Thai-Chinese Leadership Elite Training Program on May 13. Over one hundred people participated, including Mr.Aran Eiamsuree, President of the Siamese Dragon Association of Thailand, Mr. Chidchai Wannasathit, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and other participants from the training program.

Ambassador Zhang elaborated on the broad prospects for China-Thailand cooperation brought about by China's high-quality development, based on the outline of the 15th  Five-Year Plan. He introduced the cooperation prospects between the two sides in areas such as trade and investment, industrial upgrading, green transformation, connectivity, regional cooperation, and cultural exchanges. He expressed China's willingness to strengthen strategic alignment with Thailand and jointly address the uncertainties of the external environment with the stability and certainty of China-Thailand relations.

The participating guests stated that the implementation of China's 15th  Five-Year Plan has injected new momentum and brought new opportunities to bilateral cooperation, and expressed their hope to further deepen pragmatic cooperation and work together for a better future for both countries.
