Chinese Embassy in Thailand Makes All-out Efforts to Deal with Capsizing of Boats in Phuket

The Chinese Embassy in Thailand is highly concerned about the capsizing of the tourist boats in Phuket on July 5. The Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy has made urgent representations to the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, asking the Thai side to race against time and go all-out in the search and rescue operation. The task force of the Embassy will arrive at Phuket on the early morning of July 6 to deal with the relevant issue.

Officials from the Phuket Consular Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Songkhla are providing assistance to Chinese citizens rescued. The working group sent by the Chinese Consulate General in Songkhla is making an overnight trip to Phuket.
