On February 27, 40 Chinese nationals involved in illegal immigration were deported from Thailand and returned to Xinjiang, China, aboard a chartered flight arranged by China’s civil aviation. This action is a specific measure taken by China and Thailand in accordance with laws and international practices to jointly address illegal immigration and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens.

These individuals, who had been detained in Thailand for over a decade due to complex international factors, were swiftly returned to China after Chinese public security and immigration management authorities followed strict, standardized, fair, and civilized law enforcement procedures. They will be properly resettled and assisted in reintegrating into normal life.
