Application for Macao SAR Visa via Chinese Visa Application Service Center

Applications for ordinary visas for Macao SAR are required to submit to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center.

1. About the Chinese Visa Application Service Center

(a) Address: 5th Floor, Thanapoom Tower, 1550 New Petchaburi Road, Makkasan, Bangkok 10400

2. Processing time and Payment

(a) Office Hour: 9:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday, closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays

Application submission: 9:00 - 15:00

Payment and collection Time: 9:00 - 16:00

(b) Visa processing time: Regular service usually takes 4 working days.

Express service needs the approval of consular officer and extra service fees will be charged.

For applications which need the approval of Hong Kong Immigration Department or Macao Public Security Police Force, processing time might be prolonged.

3. Additional notes

(a) Chinese Visa Application Service Centers are only responsible for the handling of the application submissions. The Chinese Embassy in Thailand are in charge of decision-making and visa issuing.

(b) Diplomatic, Service or Official passport holders and applicants who apply for diplomatic, service or courtesy visas for Hong Kong/Macao SAR, as well as the Chinese passport holders who apply for Hong Kong Entry Permits, please submit applications directly to the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy.
