On January 14, Ambassador Zhang Jianwei attended and delivered a keynote speech at the "Next Steps for the Rule of Law in Thailand" forum hosted by the Thai Ministry of Justice. More than 100 people participated in the forum, including Ms. Pongsawat Neelayothin, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Thai government officials, and scholars.

Ambassador Zhang actively promoted Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law and highlighted China's historic achievements in developing the rule of law. He stated that President Xi Jinping's four global initiatives contain profound legal connotations and provide Chinese solutions for countries around the world to explore their own paths to rule of law development. China is willing to work with Thailand to continuously deepen bilateral dialogue on the rule of law and judicial cooperation, and make unremitting efforts to build a China-Thailand community with a shared future.

Ms. Pongsawat Neelayothin, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice introduced the situation of Thailand's rule of law development, praised China's achievements in this area, and expressed Thailand's willingness to actively learn from Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law and explore a path for rule of law development suited to its national conditions.
