On February 17, the event "China-Thailand Bloodline Connection: 50 Years of Diplomatic Relations, 5 Million Blood Donations" was officially opened at the National Blood Center of Thailand. The event was jointly organized by the Thai Ministry of Education, the Red Cross Society, the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Language Teachers Association, and other partners. Ambassador Han Zhiqiang, Thai Minister of Education Permpoon Chidchob, President of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce Narongsak Putthapornmongkol, and Director of the National Blood Center of Thailand Dootchai Chaiwanichsiri attended the event and delivered speeches. Hundreds of staff members, teachers, and students from the Thai Ministry of Education, various schools, and Chinese-funded enterprises in Thailand actively participated in the event.
