On July 23, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand held a grand reception to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Ambassador Zhang Jianwei, senior military and political officials from the Thai Ministry of Defense, The Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, the Royal Thai Army, the Royal Thai Navy, and the Royal Thai Air Force., as well as more than 800 guests including members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of the Chinese community in Thailand, attended the event.
