On August 15th, a celebration was held to mark the 20th anniversary of the Confucius Classroom at Trimitt Wittayalai School in Thailand, along with a seminar on the sustainable development of Chinese language education in Thailand. The event was attended by His Holiness Somdej Phra Maha Ratchamongkol Muni, representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, the Chinese Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education of China, Tianjin Demonstration High School from China, and various other sectors from both China and Thailand.

Ambassador Zhang stated in his speech that the Confucius Classroom at Trimitt Wittayalai School is the first of its kind in the world and, over the past two decades, has played a significant role in teaching the Chinese language and promoting intercultural learning. It serves as a platform for Thai youth to understand China and broaden their perspectives. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will visit China for the 58th time, continuing the beautiful story of "China and Thailand are as close as one family." China sincerely hopes to cooperate with Thailand to strengthen relations and collaboration in education, culture, and youth development, laying a solid cultural foundation for high-quality building a China-Thailand community with a shared future.

During the event, the participating guests conducted a special discussion on "The Inheritance and Future of Chinese Language Education in Thailand".
