The 2026 Thai Youth “Belt and Road” Exchange Delegation event was successfully held from 9 to 10 October. The event was co-organized by the Chinese Embassy in Thailand and the Chinese Teachers (Thailand) Association, with more than 90 teachers and students from seven schools in Thailand participating.

Ambassador Zhang Jianwei underscored the rich achievements of China-Thailand Belt and Road cooperation at the opening ceremony. He encouraged young participants to continue taking an active role in the initiative as both a vital new force for a China-Thailand community with a shared future and torchbearers of the two nations' enduring friendship.Chairperson Luo Tieying of the Chinese Teachers (Thailand) Association noted that the event would be as a valuable opportunity to encourage the younger generation to carry forward the spirit of China and Thailand are as close as one family.

During the event, delegation members watched the film Dear You, experienced traditional Chinese culture, and visited Chinese enterprises in Thailand, including Chacha Food Thailand and TeraHop Technology Thailand. Participants noted that the event highlighted the mutually beneficial economic ties and cultural bonds between China and Thailand, while reinforcing support for high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and a shared commitment to lasting bilateral friendship.
